  9. WHAT IS IT?

  11. - Initial set of NewIcons and application graphics done
  12.   in a realistic, gradient style (as much as possible
  13.   given the NewIcons palette).

  15. - Approx. 190 icons and graphics (including new graphics/
  16.   toolbar replacements for YAM, MUI, and iBrowse).

  20. FEATURES

  22. - More realistic style, as opposed to standard cartoony
  23.   icons. Inspired by Keith Ohlfs' work on the NeXT icons.

  25. - *CLEAR* difference between the selected and unselected
  26.   versions of the icon (some MWB/NI icon sets change only
  27.   a few pixels, making it hard to tell when an icon is
  28.   selected).
  29.  
  30.   This is the famous GLOW EFFECT(tm)! :-)

  32. - Hand-drawn (no dithered scans), hand-anti-aliased.
  33.  
  34. - Color gradients, soft shadows.

  36. - Professional design. (No, really! I'm a professional
  37.   graphic designer).

  43. WHY VERSION 0.2?

  45. - These are the icons *I* needed on *my* system. As a
  46.   result there are significant gaps (for example, no icons
  47.   for MODs).

  50.   full replacement for the original Workbench icons.
